All successful applicants will be required to complete the Trust’s induction programme. The Fundamental (Statutory and Mandatory) training will be in an e-learning format. You will be required to complete training modules online (approx. 9-14 hours depending on post) in your own time prior to any unconditional offer being made.

We are currently recruiting for a Clinical Lead for Acute Care Programme.

You will demonstrate expert clinical skill/knowledge and will provide highly visible clinical leadership in order to develop and deliver high quality services for service users. You will work in partnership with the clinical nurse manager, professional leads and managers for the service, ensuring delivery of high quality evidence based and cost effective service.

The role is open to any senior psychiatrist who meets the person specification on the job description. You will work closely with the other two clinical leads and the CD for acute care and you will be provided with supervision and development opportunities as appropriate.

There is a responsibility allowance of 1xPA.

Applicant requirements

The postholder will have regular contact with vulnerable people and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
