All successful applicants will be required to complete the Trust’s induction programme. The Fundamental (Statutory and Mandatory) training will be in an e-learning format. You will be required to complete training modules online (approx. 9-14 hours depending on post) in your own time prior to any unconditional offer being made.

Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust (BSMHFT) provides comprehensive mental health services culturally and socially-diverse population of 1.2 million spread over 172 square miles, and have an income of over £230 million.  We are one of the largest and most complex mental health foundation trusts in the country. BSMHFT employs over 4,000 staff, which is inclusive of 115 Consultant posts and 57 Middle Grade posts.

BSMHFT are seeking to appoint a temporary Middle Grade Doctor to work in the department of Neuropsychiatry (10PA) based at The Barberry, The postholder will provide assessment and management of patients with epilepsy.

 Candidates must have full GMC registration and relevant experience working in Neuropsychiatry with patients with epilepsy.

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.

This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
